Taken yesterday morning at a local river just outside of Boston and adjacent to a shopping mall. We are lucky enough to have a few Redheads the past couple of winters.

Curious about people's thoughts on adding borders to bird photos. I don't see a lot of them on this site, but most pictures on walls have frames. Not sure what online protocol is.

Please consider opening in full view.

Thank you for any critiques and comments.

Best,

Matt

Nice low angle, light and detail. Agree a little more detail in the darks would improve.

Handsome fellow and a nice shot. A slight head turn towards the camera would have thrown a bit of light on the front of the face but otherwise about as good as it gets.

Great looking adult drake Matt and I like the nice water color but I find this one a bit dark on my monitor.
Maybe about a third increase in exposure would give it a bit more pop. Well done
