My buddy and I were out yesterday when we ran across a Passage (juvie) Peregrine that had just taken a coot. She left the coot as we didn't see her on the bank so we moved away to see if she would come back for her breakfast. She never came back but this beautiful male Harrier, also known as a Grey Ghost, came in to take the free prize. I have been shooting for many years and have never gotten close to a Ghost like this so needless to say my friend and I were elated!!

Thanks as always for looking and for your input.  I appreciate it.

As good as it gets, David. Or to use a cliché; National Geographic quality in a good sense.

Nice behavioral image. Nice pose on the harrier and coot. They are difficult to photograph. Congrats.

Perfect in every way, as stated before "cannot get any better than this" I would have been over the moon. A huge congrats.
