I went to Crex Meadows WMA earlier this week to do some canoeing and photograph the migrating Sandhill Cranes. The Cranes come into the refuge in the evening to roost for the night and leave again earlier in the AM to the fields outside the refuge.
I caught this pair coming into the refuge early in the AM.

John, this is impressive to get 1/5000 at f/8 at that time with so little noise. Can you include your ISO??

Two birds is always a bonus. This captures the end of the day well!
