I was so lucky to have the opportunity to photograph this guy during almost half an hour from a tower of observation near Cap Tourmente in the Québec City region two weeks ago.

Canon EOS 7D Mark II
Canon IS 600 mm II 1:4.0 + TC 2X III - 1/500s f/10.0 iso400

well done on this capture but for me I would of like to see the whole bird.

Great stare, but I agree the shot is awkwardly between portrait and full body.
