This one was very focused on hunting. Fall colors in the area were a bonus.

Love the stare and the nice fall colors in the background. I hope they will come down this year.

We have seen a couple the past few years but  Winter of 2012/13 was the big year. Fingers crossed.

Great pose and I love the foliage. Someday maybe I'll get to see one of these guys. I'd be tempted to brighten his left eye.

Such gorgeous birds! The dry tree stump complements the owl plumage beautifully and the background autumn colours just add the finishing touch. Lovely image Terry.

Lovely shot. The BG sets it off nicely. I love the condescending "over the nose" look they have.
(Perhaps a tad more room on the left?)
