I was lucky to have decided to stay for an other five minutes after two and  half hours
of waiting. The older juvi returned to the nest and did a nice circle around before landing.
Taken twenty minutes before sundown, the best light you can get.
Thanks for looking.

Karl, this couldn't be sweeter. Congratulations on a wonderful shot. The detail, colour, banking pose and topside view are gorgeous - and that golden light is the finishing touch to this masterpiece.

Excellent flight pose Karl. Lovely wing position and fanning tail feathers. Sweet light.

Thank you all for looking and commenting, thanks for the E.P. title.
This image has been my favorite of the series and I'm glad you liked it.
Spent an other couple of hours at the nest site but they finished nesting.
Best of luck for them during migration and over wintering.
