I have elated to get this beautiful shorebird in breeding plumage on it's nesting territory.

Gorgeous frame. Great setting for a bird who is one of my nemesis (in breeding plumage). I have seen thousands at a time on their northward push, but to isolate one in a feeding flock is a different story.
