Another image from my spring 2016 series where I spent a fair amount of time with this very cooperative bird. This time I used native Larch, another favorite perch of mine. Its actually a decidious conifer and also makes great little cones.
Nikon D800 500 VR , ISO 160 1/800, F6.3, tripod, quick camo cover.
Orange County, New York..
