Hi-

Taken earlier this week. The sand on our beaches in MA can appear purple due to quartz (from what I understand).

Curious what you think of the angle and crop (20%). I know you can't see the whole bird, but I was going for close-up.

Please consider opening in full view.

Different and in a good way Matt! Brilliant as part of a set of images for this species, and also for showing different feeding behaviours. For me, it also works as a stand alone shot. Good to push the usual and capture different views. Well done.
