Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas last week.

Nikon D810, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/320 sec at f/18, ISO 500, fill flash @ -1.0.

This is full frame, no crop.  There were quite a few more birds, but needed a wide-angle lens to get them in the shot.

That's a lot of Caracaras.
I like the middle bird as the subject, might crop out the two standing birds R and L.

Nice shot.

For the best photo, I agree with picking the center bird and crop out from there.  My intent was to show just how many Caracaras were surrounding the food.  It would have taken a wide-angle lens to show all of them.

I cropped the shot as suggested and I think it looks pretty good.  Can someone tell me how to post an edited photo in the remarks section?  Thanks from one of the technically challenged among us.

Homer, No, a turkey vulture has a red head.  This is a Black Vulture.  Some people at times will call it  a Black Headed Vulture, which is true that it has a black head, but is not the correct name.  The Black Vulture is much, much more aggressive than a Turkey Vulture, willing to mix it up with Caracaras.  I'll post a photo with a Black Vulture and a Caracara on the same perch for a comparison.  Thanks for asking.

Wow, that is a frame filling feeding frenzy. I would definitely try this with a wide angle lens. Cool shot.
