Without Birds Earth Must Be Boring

Taken a week ago in Toronto,Ontario,Canada.I was in the park 2 days ago and everyone ask me if I see Junior, apparently the Dad Grebe took him to the open water  and did not come back on their nesting site I left the park just before sunset and did not see him either.I am not sure if he is able to make it on his own hope he find his way back home.

I do hope the chick makes it Homer, and this is a wonderful image of a tender intimate moment between parent and young one.

Gosh, the chicks have grown so much in two weeks, nice interaction Homer and nice to see you got a nice BG, usually so difficult at that location,

Moments like this makes the difference between another grebe shot or a great grebe shot like yours. Thanks for sharing it!
