Dangling red breasted nuthatch

a6300 Tamron 200-500 f6.3 1/250th Yongnuo 560 ISO 400
This little bird flew over to this twig and hung upside down.  After a while it flew away and seemed fine.  We were wondering if it maybe had heat stroke with the high temps. here.  I've never seen them do this before although they hang upside down on tree trunks.

Very unusual indeed. Still, a nice shot you have captured of this behavior. I would reduce the flash a bit and warm up
the image slightly to give a more natural sunlight feel.
