Many thousands of these handsome ducks spend the winter in our coastal waters, here in Vancouver. As they can be challenging to photograph on the ocean, it's always nice to see them on the small ponds on the east side of the Coast Mountains where they breed each spring.

Beautiful picture. Everything nice from calling pose at eye level to misty background with same color as the water,
