A high key picture of a northern gannet.

I think the bit of yellow on his head contrasts just enough with the high key to show off detail. This is so beautiful!

Works well indeed for a high key exercise, Sam!

A beautiful vertical portrait. The high key effect gives it an artistic touch.

After just returning from Bonaventure Island, Quebec, to photograph the Northern Gannets, I learned this technique from our photo trip leader, Len Silvester. I shot quite a few shots at +2, which nicely captured the "high key" effect. When I saw your photo, I just fell in love with it. Beautiful shot.
