I really enjoy shooting Shovelers. They have such nice form and beautifully colored feathers.

Thanks KK I appreciate the comment.

The image was taken at a spot where the green trees are far behind so they couldn't have an impact on the color but I will check it out again.
Normally I look at the whites to determine if there is a cast but the bright whites on the wing coverts look clean on this one to me.
