A group of Snow Geese at Bosque del Apache taken on film several years ago. Although it is one of my all-time favorite images from Bosque, it has been my nemesis in the processing department!!! I have never been able to reproduce the actual look, colors and impact of the original slide.
Nikon F4 or F5, probably a Nikon 200-400f4 MF lens and film unknown (I scanned this several years ago and the slide is put away somewhere). Circa 1993.
All C&C welcome.

Joe

Great symmetry. They all seem to be looking at you.

Looks as if there is a magenta color cast, but otherwise it's terrific. All of those head turns and great DOF

I love it!  That pair of Ross's hasn't quite caught on.  Were they watching an eagle?

Thanks, all, for your comments and input! David, you observed the Ross's geese being nonchalant, compared to the Snows! I was wondering if anyone would catch that. There is one at the top that followed the Snow's lead, though. The colors are the thing that are driving me crazy in correcting. It has been published in a calendar and, I believe, in a magazine article, as well. With the color separations, everything looked good, but the scan is different. Here's another version that I think may be better, but the detail is still not like the slide:
