This one is from this year at Magee Marsh. What fantastic shooting we had there! I can't access all the technicals on this right now. It was with the Canon 10d, 400mm 2.8IS. 2xII, 550EX with BB. probably at -1 1.3 fill, and ISO 200. I was happy to get some frames of this one singing.

Steve,

This is very nice. The perch makes this an interesting comp. Love that you got him singing.

Very nice, Steve. The angle is somewhat steep, but the bird and BG are excellent.

Well, I can't say what came out of my mouth when this loaded
Marvelous shot, you can even see the rictal bristles. Catching him singing puts this shot well over the top.

Steve,

The background is so nice against the yellow and black coloring on the bird. Great image!

This makes me so happy just to see it! Some images create an instantaneous feeling of joy, and this is one of them, no matter what one could find to critique. Nice job Steve!
