Motif: Snowy Egret Fight

This was taken at Sunken Meadow State park.

With so many Egrets in one place they would sometimes have squabbles and if they were equally matched they would decide it in the air.

Canon 10D 70-200 f2.8 @ 200, Handheld, Manual exposure using incident meter -1 1/2500 @ 2.8, Auto focus all sensors activated.

Nice action capture. Looks like the one on the right has dandruff. I wondered if it would be better if the left birds wing didn’t merge with the other, but then decided I like it as is.

Flight man - or fight man? :) Nice capture. Don't mind the bit of a merge at all. In a fight, that's what I expect. The white specks at the bottom are a bit of a bother at one level. I keep wanting to brush them off my computer screen! Any explanation? Feather parts from a scuffle?

Nice one Jimmy. I give the bird on the left a 10-9 round. He seems to have the other on the run.
I think those "dandruff spots" are actually small water droplets, and all part of the action.
