Scotto,

Nice image. Love the branch and the wintery feel. The angl looks a little steep and I wish she had a stronger catchlight which would add a lot.

Looks cold! Very cool shot that might benefit from just a hair more USM.

Wonderful shot, slightly soft but not by much, USM could help here, also a kiss of flash would have been the icing on the cake!!! Congrats!!! 8)

Lovely cardinal with nice shading. Love the wood tones in the perch. Would consider bringing out the light in the eye with a selective Levels adjustment.

I think all the suggestions are pretty much right on but I wanted to add that I think this has a lovely wintry feel. Cardinals always add such a nice splash of color on the dreary winter days. This remind me of that. :)

Beautiful shot. So many times we focus on
the males and pay no attention to the females but this is one of
my favorites. Thanks for sharing. :)

Beautiful color, I like the female cardinal better than the male when presented like this one.

Beautiful color. A little tight in the frame for me. I would add the catchlight in PS

Some great suggestions have already been given. Still....I like this one. Cardinals always make great subjects....especially in the snow. Nice job!

A very pretty photo of a very pretty girl. I love these winter cardinal photos. I just wish we had them here.

Scotto,

I like the detail and color in the feathers, and the composition is very nice! Great image!

Lovely. I especially like the birch perch and wintery BG blur. :)

I'm here late and it seems that it's all been said. I can still tell you I like the feel of the image very much.
