Yes... taken from a kayak!


 I paddled over to this section of Summit Lake where there are several dead trees sticking out of the water. These trees serve as a nesting site for several of these birds each year. I noticed on several occasions two of them would chase each other, skimming the surface of the water. I positioned myself in my kayak with the sun at my back, and waited about 45mins.

Jason...Really nice capture and colors...like the stop action on the water drops...I agree with Alan as far as giving these guys a bit more room in front. But I think it was nice that one was help bathe the other...ya think?
