Stuck at home waiting for the furnace man to arrive, I decided to try for some motif headshots at my suet feeder. I got this shooting through my open workshop door. Cropped out the feeder and cloned some suet off the bill.

Canon 1D, 500 with 1.4X, 1/500th @ f/7.1, flash minus 2/3.

Cool! The only improvement I could see this having would be a little more light from the rear of the head. Awesome detail. Great BG.

This is a really nice portrait of my favorite woodpecker. :) It might be just a little bit large in the frame for my taste but it's still very nice!

Whoa! Killling. What detail. As long as your into cloning out the suet, you might consider adding to the canvas in front of the bird and cloning the background so that there is some more room in front of the bird.
