Sheri,

You have caught the iridescense of the cheek and this is usually pretty difficult to do. If you were to crop a litle from the bottom the whites become less noticable and the focus becomes the water, the eye and the cheek (which are all awesome)

Great shot, I love the silky feeling the water has here. Exposure composition and detail are all GREAT as well.

Fantastic colors in the bird and great patterns in the water. I too would wish for a lower shooting angle, but this is still really good. Glad you shared it!
