Tremendous capture. My only nit is that I find the leaves between the hummer and the flower are a little distracting. Would a little less DOF have worked or been possible with this setup?

Excellent pose caught at the right moment. I like the DOF here where you can still see the shapes of the foliage in the BG.

This is gorgeous, I like the other things going on in the background. The flower its feeding at is perfection, and I love the moment in flight you caught the bird at.

Very cool shot. I think the tail position is really interesting here. I appreciate the natural background on this one.

Alan:

These guys get into some outlandish positions when feeding, and you've captured a real stopper here. It looks like he is feeding and screeching to a halt at the same time.

Boy can you be annoying. Maybe it's time to dig out some more BE shots. As soon as I free up some vacation time, say in 2005, I gotta stop by to see these. :D Nice!

Neil:

Thanks for the comments. A little less DOF would not get the hummer so sharp and in focus, but I could have pulled the background board with flowers stuck to it, further away :) If you all don't mind, I'll take it as a compliment that you though this was a natural BG.
