Endemic to Sulawesi, a rain forest bee-eater, photographed at about 2,000 meters in Lore Lindu. The background was in deep shade.

Love the light on this one, Con. The bright bird and dark background gives a very nice deep forest feel to this portrait.

Cheers,
Greg

A stunningly beautiful portrait of this bird. Natural dark BG makes bird pop. Colors are great and pose as well.

Is this bird calling or are they that bulbous all the time under the beak? Beautiful image.

Con, nice head turn pose with wonderful show of backside with that long tail, and dramatically showcased against the darker BG.
