Hello NatureScapes

I am really happy to see so many names in here. Its like a grand reunion of old friends. My last post, Least Turn with a fish was along the theme of food for love. Here's another avian trade off... laughing gull courtship feeding..

I made this image at Fort DeSoto this spring.

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions..

An intimate image, Dennis, which is rendered just about perfectly. The faces and bills are razor sharp. I'm considering a little off the bottom, but I think not.

I'd be willing to try a bit off the bottom, but like Sandy said, it's not really needed.

Great interaction here - catchlight, color, sharpness all work perfectly.

Dennis,

Good to see you here. Real intimate image. What's most unique is the low angle/

Great closeup of some very interesting behavior. Composition, exposure, light are all great. I agree, this website feels like home already.

Great capture of this behavior. I especially like the intense look in the recipient bird's eye.

Dennis,

This is wonderful. The sharpness in both eyes and both beaks as well as the interaction between the two makes this a special image. Laughing gulls are one of many I hope to catch this weekend in Florida. Great image!

Dennis, great to see you here and thanks for taking on the role of Moderator for FFM.

As for the shot I love it and the interaction is great! I wish you had a better angle on the birds, but this is wonderful as is!
