Harvey, at first I thought this was a bird caught in a mist net, but I believe it's a Broad-Billed Hummingbird collecting nesting material?

Great behavior and timing. Shadow recovery could bring out more detail in the darks. If the eye was open, I'd add a catchlight. A great shot.

Yes... it's a Broadbilled Hummer. I have a few other recent posts with him on the forum using flash. This time the flash didn't fire as I was at the end of the cycle.

Great timing Harvey I couldn't figure out what was happening at first. Would try to enhance the building material around the beak and Alan's suggestion. Sweet shot congratulations.
