Great shot,

Fantastic with the wing-stretch on the kelp. Maybe one day I'll run into you at Bolsa Chica since I live close by.

Nice and sharp. The green slimy stuff—whatever it is—makes for a very nice setting.

Excellent pose in a great environment Richard. The kelp really works well! Sharpness and exposure look impressive, but did you use any software like Neatimage on it, as it's feathers and the kelp in the forground look a bit weird.

Very nice bright and crisp image. The greens, both in focus and out of focus are wonderful. Excellent DOF.

Richard,

Everything works, the detail, the angle the shot was taken, the subject placement in the frame, the BG, and the pose puts it over the top.

Excelllent! The seaweed or moss makes this a little different. Nice and sharp with good DOF. Very nice image.

Don't know what Neatimage is. The only software was the usual PS work.
The feathers may look wet because the Westerns were bathing before this.

Fine image and pose, Richard. Maybe a hair over-sharpened.

Richard,

The image has a very three dimensional look. The Sandpiper looks like he's about to step right out on to my desk. This is very nice.
