Image taken in Yellowstone NP -- one of my favorite images of one of my favorite subjects.

Equipment: F5, 600/f4 AFS, 1.4x, A2 filter, Provia 100F

Excellent in every way, Simon!! I really like the monochromatic shades of brown. It would be a favorite of mine too. :)

Very nice. I like the way the owl is isolated against the dark background. The opposite diagonals of the owl and the perch make for an interesting composition.

The bird looks great. The diagonal perch sets up a very dynamic and unique composition.

Beautiful shot of the GG Owl. I also photographed one in Yellowstone about 10 years ago--it was very approachable.
