A very pleasing shot Chas. Great exposure as usual with an excellent pose as well. Maybe a bit tight in frame for my taste...but still very nicely done.

Gorgeous, Chas. For me, the BG is the star of this image. If I could move the bird and foliage about 30 pixels to the right, I'd be 100% happy with the image. This way I'm only 99% happy. Wish I had an image that pleased me 99%.

If you're around again in later May, I'll get up there to say hello.

Thanks my friend. I did consider your placement, but there was a distracting white egret in background to the right, so no could do :wink: Guess, I will have to settle with 99%. I prefer this placement in the frame, as it is balanced well atop the branch. However, I would have preferred a bit more room around the bird, but my butt was pressed against the rail. Darn that 600-lol

I will be there again the weekend of the 16th. Hope to see both you and your partner in crime.

First a little tiny dust spot in my image!!, and now 30 pixel call on this one!!, Oh Boy!!, are you going to be in trouble soon!!
