Little Egret Egretta garzetta

Mai Po, April 05, 2004.

EOS 10D, EF300mm f/2.8 L USM, EF2x II, ISO100, f/8, C1LE, FocalBlade, 67% of the original.

I was asked if I could take some close-in egrets without stacked convertors. Here is one of them. Probably not the best but it is fun. :)

Hi Griffin, The fluffy, wind blown, feathers really show the detail on this snowy. I do wish there was a clearer eye and more room on the bottom however.

Very nice. I love the blowing plumes. I agree with George that it needs more on the bottom.

Better now on the bottom, Griffin. (Flash would have helped the eye appear clearer and sharper.) Still, a nice image, thanks for reposting.

Griffin, Very nice shot of this Little Egret!! We had one here in the U.S. with only one plume. The repost is definitely best!! :D 8)
