I know this is a little early, but I am heading down to the coast for a few days to photograph migrants and won't be able to post from the hotel.

This was shot last spring in Virginia. I had come across a pair of nesting Ospreys and caught the male as he was returning to the nest with a snack. He pulled up in mid-flight and took a bite before landing.

Eating on the run. :D

Well done, Wayne.

Have a good shoot. Wish I were there, too, rather than flying a desk.

Cool action shot, Wayne!!! From what I've seen Dad eats the entire head ... then drops the body to Mom to share with the nestlings. 8) 8)

What a great shot, congratulations Wayne. Composition, exposure, sharpness, action, .... boy, this one has it all.
