Classic Black: Australian Raven

I don't often think of Ravens as shore-birds, but this one was foraging with a few mates amongst the rocks at low tide. Location is Killalea State Recreation Area, about 2hrs south of Sydney, Australia

I love the feather detail, and of course classic black is always in!

Considering the brightness of the light, the raven is nicely lit. The raven sheen is very nice too. My only wish would be for him to be coming toward the camera. Still very nice as is. :)

Same as what Bill said. I think I like the image better with the most of the rocks cropped off.
