This was taken several weeks ago on the Platte River in my home state of Nebraska. All comments welcome.

Welcome to NSN! Nice first post with motion to the wings of the subject and the torso tack sharp.

Welcome to NSN!! This is a wonderful first post. I like how the background cranes are in enough focus to be identifiable but not distracting.

Now that you have started there's go stopping. :D

Very nice motion capture, the eye and in-focus areas are fantastic. I'm hoping to see my first Sandhill Cranes, at Long Point, this coming weekend.

Whf4, those contrails are actually water streaming back, luckily you can easily see them in the hi-res file. I was kind of shocked to see it since they had been airborne for what seemed like 5 seconds.

Chris, I am located in Lincoln & yes my other half & I always make it to Squaw for the fall migration.
