This Black-winged Stilt couple were taking a stroll quietly down the pond ... The shot is meant to capture the mood of a calm morning. :D

KK,
Not only did you capture the mood, you showed them in a plummage phase that I'm not used to seeing down here in Texas.

Sweet shot, KK. The water and the BG are particularly good.

There is a symmetry to it that I like. I think it might be an even stronger image without some of the lighter reflections in the water towards the top of the frame, although the ones that go across the frame vertically are cool.

I like creative compositions like this where the birds are the main subject but don't take up the majority of the space. Nice vision in use of space here.

Nice shot. It is peaceful.

I would like to see it without the OOF white lines. Not much you could do about that I guess.

The calminess and lighting are superb. Yep I feel like watching a painting.

2 Questions:

1. Would a CP-L affect the mood here?
2. Is this taken at MPNR? Could we enter that early in the morning?

TIA.
Griffin.

Very peaceful. A little separation between the two birds would improve this slightly but it is still lovely the way it is.
