Well several of you encouraged me to look at the series to find a more typical pose - and I came up with this one. Unfortunately no fill in flash (I didn't have it with me)..and the bird was a little farther away, so detail is not quite so good. Anyway, here goes!

Please let me know what you think - I'm learning so much from everyone's helpful suggestions.

I really like the background and pose on this one. Detail looks good to me. It would have been nice if he were looking more your way...but mockingbirds don't seem to take direction very well. :wink:
