Nice shot, love the "look". I think I met this guy somewhere, he looks familiar.

Good to meet you this morning. I want to see a picture of one of those bugs :D That MT-24 is pretty slick thanks for showing it to me. This is cool, I love the eye and the Double crests. My only wish is a cleaner background.

That was great running into you this morning what a treat. Will post the monster we found on the Macro section (couple of minutes) I’m sure glad they did not bite.

Great stealth on getting close. The eyes look like costume jewelry. I too wish the BG were more uniform.

Love the jewelled eyes! I have tried to get shots that show these colours but haven't been successful.

Outstanding. Amazing eyes. And hair like Dilbert's manager! The BG doesn't bother me - my focus tends to stay on the bird. It wouldn't have occurred to me to bring my 180 when birds are around. Now I know better!

Cool shot! I like you "in your face" composition. Those eyes are amazing. I would swear they weren't real if I had not seen these birds before. The background issue is minor to me...could be a little cleaner, but those compelling eyes and straightforward stare grab my attention and hold it there.
