This is a "real" Canada Goose...from Canada. Taken on Vancouver Island last spring on the grounds of Hatley Castle. Canon D60, EF 28-70mm f2.8L @ 35mm. ISO 100, f5.6.

Linda,

This is a cool shot. Nothing like where you'd normally expect to see a Canada Goose. I like it :)

Linda,

I love this!! It's so quiet and peaceful. My only suggestion would be for the goose to be a little lower and to the left in the frame. Still excellent as is. Thanks for contributing to the Motif. :)

Nice shot. I would like it even better with the bird not being dead center.

Very different for a Canada Goose shot. I like it. Although I tend to agree with Bill and E.J. Still a nice shot.

Linda, lovely shot with the flowers. I would crop down to the grass line and a little off the left.

Lovely shot of this bird in the flowers! I, too, posted a Canada Goose shot for this motif. :)

I tend to agree with the compositional suggestions - if the bird was down lower to the left corner this would be even better. The flowers are great!

nice capture. The only small nit is that I'd like to see a tighter crop frame left.
