A good sign of things to come here in SE Michigan - where we always look forward to the Robins returning as a sign that Spring is on its way.

A particular Staghorn Sumac grove near me attracted quite a few Robins - where they would alternate between foraging in the leaves for insects - to picking berries from the sumac.

The only thing that bugs me a bit about this shot is how the sumac touches the bottom of the frame. I suppose that could be 'erased' - but thought I'd put it up for comments unedited.

Nice robin shot, Mark. I definitely like the blue sky and the sumac with the robin. The angle that you shot this from is nice too. I think I would give the sumac a "trim" so that the one piece didn't touch the frame, but that is a small nit.

The angle looks slightly steep, but a great perch and great color combination with the bird.

Excellent shot in all respects. To clone or not to clone - depends on what the mat covers when framed, IMO.

Beautiful light and I love the perch. Since you mention it, yes, I would consider eliminating the piece of sumac perch that runs out the bottom.
