Piotr, love the expression of this guy. I would make this a horizontal as there's too much space on the bottom IMO.

It would have been ideal if the body was parallel to the film plane as well as the head. Otherwise a very nice shot indeed.

Get rid of background??? No! I think getting rid of some foreground might work though :D Very nice shot otherwise.

As the others have said cropping some of the foreground would make this even better IMO. It might just be my tired eyes but I also think I see a halo on the underside of the bill. I love the wide gold eye here. It really gives the duck an alert look.
