Pushing the envelope is what keeps me excited and creative. Mistakes, and their are many, are merely considered part of the learning process. Trying to maintain diversity within my eagle portfolio, I rotated the camera to vertical, and proceed to make in-flight banking images. I tracked this eagle as it came in for fish; when it suddenly turned direction I fired.

1D, 3oo f/2.8
exposure- incident, ISO 400, 1/1600 @ f/4

Best and see you in the field,

Chas

Great work Chas. I sooo wish I went out there with you guys. It looks like the trip was a blast.

Let met guess, incident reading, overcast skies, -0.3 (maybe) to avoid blowing out the cranium.

Cheers

Hmmm, looking at the thumbnail my initial reaction was "oh, bleuch another eagle" but I'm glad I opened it. This shot shows that it is still possible to make provoking images from what is becoming mundane.

Chas, can you please post a shot of sparrow to inspire me with regards to my available subject matter ?
