I love watching the Harlequins throw down the landing gear and slide onto the water. This was one of my better attempts at capturing their landing. Comments and crits welcome.

Beautiful shot and I agree with Alan about the action. I have not seen one of these guys yet, but if this is a normal behavior I need to find some of them!

Cool action in the water! What was the shutter speed and aperture? Focus seems to be in front of the bird as the water is sharp and the bird a little soft.

Abie, killer light, wonderful bird and great action, the exposure is slightly over the top, with this side-lighting at the right shutter speed and exposure it could have been a total killer, still very nice as is!!
