Yeah Mark, Good to meet you too. We left after lunch on Sunday and hit this bit of snow on the way back and scrambled to find something to shoot in it! This was late afternoon about 4:00PM. It lasted till 5:00 or so and it hadn't snowed at all 15 miles further up the road after we left. We just hit a good pocket and stuck with it for a couple of hours :D. Sometimes your good and sometimes you're lucky!

Mark-lol -we had snow in Homer on Monday. Even managed to shoot a bit before leaving that evening :wink:

I never tire of eagle images. This one is spot on. Whites are detailed and blacks are not too dark. Snow flakes add interest and tell of the bird's life. Good capture.

This is simply stunning in so many ways. I think this image qualifies hands down as my favorite of all the recently posted Eagle images. Just beautiful!
