Monique, I am packed and ready to go, I may not look like much but I am well behaved and can grow on you like a fungus, with no cure for it!!!

This is a little different. I like it. Maybe a little more of a head turn towards the camera would have made it even better.

Monique,
Nice detail in the feathers. Nice composition. A touch dark on my monitor.

Hard to get a bird to look away and still be interesting. This one sure is. Like the colors and detail.

I'd be inclined to trim a touch off the top, but I think you've done a great job with a tough composition - facing away from the camera isn't an easy thing to get away with and I think you've done very well.

You were low and you isolated the goose very well. What's not to like?

This has lots of elements that I really like, such as great detail and wonderful colors. For me I would really like to be engaged by the subject more, either by a bird looking away at something that I can see too so that I may relate. Or a bird that is turned a little more towards me so I feel like it was paying some attention to the camera. But there's still a lot here to like. (Sorry for the delay in my post, I guess I missed it before.)
