Savanah Sparrow Bolsa Chica, California
D1X, 600/4, 1.4X.

While at Bolsa Chica this morning with Brian Small, I shot this Guy singing.
Also got to meet a few fellow NSN'ers. It was a great day.

I had almost the same shot at Bolivar Beach this afternoon, but he got camera at just the wrong moment. Nice shot. The color and light are great. The singing behavior is a big plus.

Great image. I have exactly the same except mine is on one of the fence posts north of the bridge. I like yours better.

Cheers

Very nice - I like the blur on the beak due to the singing.

sweet pose, background, and color. The bird is a wee bit soft on my monitor although I tend to the high side on USM. Personal preference of course!
