This is my first image posted shot from my new(used) Canon 10D. I have had quite a learning curve from my old Oly P&S and manual Minolta x700. The weekend weather here has been lousy lately too.
Finally had a decent day and I was out at my local nature trail at lunchtime and came across some geese. They were doing thier best to stay away from a nice background. Then I noticed this little fella sitting not 10 feet away. As soon as I pointed the lens at him he flew into the bushes 20 feet away and sat still for about 5 shots. Its not a perfect image but I am please with the end result. Canon 10D 100-400L IS at 400mm ISO 200, f5.6, 1/800 Adusted WB for Shade, exposure+.03, Sharpening. PS Thanks to all here who have sold me my new and used gear. Got some good buys and am really enjoying my new toys. Eric
