Drooling Harlequin

The images from San Diego seem to be never ending. This is another image of the Harlequin Duck at Mission Bay in San Diego.

Canon D30, Canon 600mm f/4, ISO 200, YarcPlus, Photoshop, levels, USM.

I like the head on angle, too. I would say the angle is a touch steep, but I kind of like seeing the Harlequin's fascinating markings and it would be a different image from a lower perspective. Looks like you got good DOF, you weren't shooting at f/4, were you?

The fact that the angle is a tad steep , shows the bird rather well, wonderful face and excellent detail, the water works is excellent as well, nice light to boot!! Congrats!! 8)

Looks like you got good DOF, you weren't shooting at f/4, were you?
