I loved the photo ops of the coots on ice at Bosque del Apache this year. This was one morning at the crane ponds.

Wonderful shot of the rare, elusive American Coot. ;) I LOVE the raised front foot! I seem to recall a similar image of Cindy's, no?

What a cool coot! 8) I really like the position of the feet. Looks like he is getting ready to rip off a triple axle. :wink: Nice job on the exposure. I can even make out the red of his eye.

I love this! He looks like such a goofy sprinter. You caught the moment perfectly with the front foot still not quite down and the back foot pushing off. Great capture! :D
