IMAGE MOTIF: Current Theme: 2/14-2/20 HUMMINGBIRDS

IMAGE MOTIF
For those of you who enjoy rising to a challenge, NatureScapes.Net is providing an optional Image Motif, or featured theme, each week!

Past themes:
1/24 - 1/30 Birds Bathing or drinking
1/31 - 2/6 Two-fers - Two for one shots. Show your images that have a pair of birds in them.
2/7 - 2/13 Feet - Post images where the bird's feet are the primary subject.

Current Theme: 2/14-2/20 HUMMINGBIRDS - Any species, flight or perched, flash or ambient light.

Upcoming Themes:

2/21-2/28: NEST SHOTS WITH BIRD/BIRDS.- Lets see those shots showing birds on nests, feeding young, turning eggs etc.

2/28-3/6: PHOTOS TAKEN WITH WIDE ANGLE LENS. 50MM or less. Time to put away the big glass and widen the perspective.

3/6-3/13: BIRDS IN FULL BREEDING PLUMAGE. Spring is almost here and the birds are getting all dressed up. Lets see those images showing what the female birds see.

The spirit of this challenge is for fun, and as has been stated previously, participation is purely optional at any time. You may identify your post with "Motif" preceding your text in the subject line.

Please note that posting guidelines will not be modified in any way; you may feel free to post images that fit within the theme or ones that do not. This will not affect the Images of the Week selections. Only one image per week per gallery will be selected from all the images posted whether they are posted as a motif/featured subject photo or other. How they meet the weekly motif will not be taken into consideration when choosing an Image of the Week.
