Greater yellowlegs flapping wings. This bird was photographed last year in CT. Without getting too close, I was able to follow this bird around for a short while. At one point he stopped to stretch and flap, when I got this shot.

Paul, Nice timing, sharpness and composition. There seems to be a cyan cast to the image -- I have seen water nearly that color, so I could be wrong, and the cyan tint on the bird could be reflection, but thought I would mention it.

Cool shot Paul. I always enjoy your work. Sharp in the head, nice little blur on the wings.. Great going.

Great action shot, love the raised wings! The water seems a touch blue on my new monitor, which may not be calibrated correctly quite yet.

Great timing and composition! The slightly blue cast should be easy to fix. One of the better Greater Yellowlegs images I've seen.

A beautiful shot and great timing. The photo is a little on the cyan side.

What a great shot. I have never gotten a wing flap as nice as this. There does appear to be a slight color cast but then I've been having problems with my monitor. You did a good job of staying with this guy for some different action.

Hey Paul,
Nice action on this one. I'm not surprised to see lots of "last years" shots with the stretches of lousy weather we've had around here

Paul,

Very nice shot. I like the implied moton in the wing flap.

Paul,

Another outstanding shot except for the colors which appear a little off in the water and the cyan cast.

An excelent image in all respects. ther is a slight cyan cast as has been mentioned but that's an easy fix.

Might have been better with head/wing separation. Still very, very nice as it is. I agree about the color cast.
