This image was taken in June at Wako. The way the eyes look reminded me of the "Goo Goo Googly Eyes" thing. I think it's from an old commercial.

Jim,

This is very nice. The eyes are great. I like how the centerline in the leaf follows the line of the bird and the perch.

I love it, Jim. The cross-legged stance is great and the BG is excellent.

Excellent. Crop meister says crop or clone out small dark area in the upper left hand corner

Jim,

Great cross- legged stance and 100% head on capture. The diagonal of the leaf works well for the BG.

The eyes are cool, but those FEET were what really drew my eye. Very cool!

A rather amusing pose ... the intense look of its eyes and the funny crossed legs. I like it, Jim!

This is great! Love those eyes. I'm with Richard on cropping the dark ULC as there is still plenty of room left without crowding the bird.

Jim,

Great eyes and that leaf makes a wonderful contrast to the bird.

All around hilarious - and wonderful - shot. The crossed legs and comical eyes are great. I would cast a dissenting vote on the crop suggestion at the top. If the upper left corner - where it looks like you've run out of background leaf - is bothersome, I would be tempted to clone, but cropping IMO moves the eyes a little close to the edge.

Jim,

This is really nice. The bird could stand on its own, but for the the BG is what really puts it over the top.
